Velvet...again.

It's here...the debut of the new hair! I dressed like a school girl sicne the hair makes me look a good couple of years younger, you bored of this velvet dress yet? 'Cause it would seem that I am not:

Hey!

Last night was a lot of fun (there was dancing) but of course I didn'tmake it to my 9 o'clock lecture today. No big deal really but it was the last lecture before Christmas holidays so I really should've gone... I got my hair cut today and so these are the last pictures of my super long hair!

Hope everyone has fun plans for the weekend! I'm checking out the Winter Wonderland (German market, outdoor skating and a big wheel - Edinburgh is fun at Christmas time!) and celebrating a friend's 21st first (we have been promised home-made chilli!), so it should be a good one!

Hey!

I was tearing my wardrobe apart this morning becuase I was having one of those "I have absolutely no clothes!" days and found this Kookai dress, which I bought on sale this time last year. Who says trends don't recycle themselves?

In other news, I made a hair appointment for tomorrow, no longer will I be tripping over my hair at every step. Also, my mum and I have been discussing graduation attire and it has me really excited...and only 7 months to go!

Hard Rock

Hey!
After yesterday's adventure losing my USB stick in the computer lab, I went in again today and lost a glove, I am becoming so clumsy! This evening I met up with one of my best friends and had an amzing dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

I wore my purple H&M skirt under my Topshop lace dress today and I will admit that I changed out of the heels once I went outside and nearly slipped on the ice - it is cold! A few of you asked where the boots I wore yesterday were from - etsy!

I have always depended on the kindness of strangers...

Hey!

Today has been productive. I am one step closer to getting my dissertation sorted out and I once again believe in the kindness of other human beings. I (stupidly) left my USB stick in the computer labs, not even noticing that the thing which holds all of my work this year wasn't with me. My phone rang this afternoon and a random guy had found my stick, looked at my CV which was on it and phoned me, how amazing is that? I'd have been in so much trouble if I'd lost that! However, if facebook tells me that one more person "is no longer listed as single." I may scream! Is it just the time of year? Anyway, my new boots came today and I think I am in love!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and a good Monday. We had a presentation in one of our lectures and it is ridiculous how nervous I get when I have to speak in front of people, honestly! Also, the paper was far too biology-based anyway with lots of those crazy abbreviations they love so much...
