Diamonds are a girl's best friend

Cheesiest post title. ever. But it is relevant, as I started my new job today selling jewellary and I officially love it! I also want to buy half the stock, obviously, but that's not really financially viable at the moment. After work (I wore a suit and felt weirdly adult) I had dinner with a friend from school and wore this. I actually love this dress, but don't wear it very often for some perverse reason...

Dress - ebay (one of those shops that sell clothes from Japan/Korea), cardigan - H&M, t-shirt - Zara (it has a skull but you can't see 'cause it's under me dress), wooden cuff - Oasis

These are the Primark tights and the shoes are from H&M, they slice my feet in the peep-toe area but I love them so...

Black and Gold

Hey!
Sea and I were out last night with friends to celebrate the very end of exams (everybody's finished now, yay!). Muchos fun was had, thought I'd show you guys my outfit:

Sorry again about the crapness of the picture! Shoes (you can see but they're leopard) - New Look, Tights - Priamrk, Dress (it's a skirt, really) - H&M via ebay, belt and black vest - H&M

Another shoddy photo, a close-up of my necklace, it's a tiny clock! A friend of mine dubbed it the "Alice in Wonderland" necklace a while ago, it's from ebay.

My outfit was all black and gold, which reminded me of this Sam Sparro song.

I have no money!

Hey!
I start a new job next week and until I get paid I have absolutely no money which is sad. I have therefore resorted to window shopping, or whatever the internet equivolent is. Some things I'd like to own in the not too distant future:

Topshop

Miss Selfridge

These are all from boohoo, though I am a bit wary of buying from them again, with the risk of cigarette smell and everything. I emailed to semi-complain (why am I such a wimp? It's an email, they can't hurt me!) and they didn't actually bother themselves to reply.

Also, I have decided I'll probably wear the cartoon dress tomorrow night, anyone have any suggestions about what to wear it with?

Waster

Hello!
Last night was a good'un. A friend's leaving night and copius amounts of alcohol, enough that I walked the wrong way home, got lost and was helped into a taxi by some 15 year old emo boys (why were they roaming the streets at that time?!). A bit gutted I wrecked by tights (shoe removal, of course) because I am sure they were like £5.99...that might be the most I've ever spent on a single pair! So I managed to take an outfit picture at least!

Not a very good picture, I fail again! In my defense I was in a hurry...

Lace shirt - vintage via ebay, white vest (underneath) - Zara, skirt - H&M, tights - tightsplease, shoe-boots (if I was writing for Heat magazine, I'd put "shoobs") - some random shop in New York, they have a heel though it's not big! Wooden bangle - Oasis. I wore the braces on my skirt this time! But I have odd shoulders so they kept faling down, quite annoying actually.

Ah well, a good time was had by all.

a blue star for meee!

Ok, I am really over reacting here, but I finally have a blue star next to my feedback score on ebay - wooo! I was getting bored with the yellow. Some of the things that have helped me achieve my blue star are as follows; (my most recent ebay purchase; another pair of shoes - i think i may need help with my shoe addiction!)

(really good band, I'd recommend some of their older stuff too, great music),

I love the skirt looooads ^_^

Here is today's outfit;

(i dont know why the pic has went all pixely, but hopefully the outfit is still see-able!)

Boohoo my dress smells!

Konichiwa! (this will become clear in a bit, I swear!)
I went to the Post Office today to collect my boohoo order. Two major problems I have discovered with the order, the first being that the dress actually reeks of fags! Which is a bit gross, really, as it's not even a second hand one from the home of some ebayer who smokes (that scenario still bothers me but can't be helped, really). I don't want to smell like this without even lighting up (I don't smoke anyway):

This is the dress by the way, the photo's from the boohoo website since I'm too lazy to take a photo of me in it, and also it smells...

The second problem with the dress is more worrying than it's odour. It honestly does make me look like an anime character:

Sailor Moon

More specifically, I look like Sailor Uranus (yes, really) who, I'm fairly certain was a lesbian. And had crap hair. Possibly, the two are related but that seems very stereotypical.

Sailor Uranus

So it remains to be seen whether I will be able to rock this dress out of whether I'll have to take up Cosplay to make it work. I do love Japanese fashion, but I don't think in Edinburgh I need the "I'm here to save the world" look.

Bad times

Hey!
Shopping today with my friend F, who happens to be a fashion student, we came across the great idea to all go to London's graduate fashion week together (she has to go anyway...lucky!) BUT I start a new job the DAY BEFORE and therefore can't go! Thought I would share the devestation of my soul with everybody...however, me and Sea are planning a trip to London later on in the summer, so all is not lost!
